As of February 9th 2009, Resnova will distribute PathoFinder’s in vitro diagnostic kits used for rapid detection and differentiation of multiple pathogens in Italy. Resnova will handle all sales, marketing, and support for the PathoFinder products under the exclusive agreement.

The MultiFinder technology enables microbiology laboratories to detect and differentiate up to 20 different viruses and bacteria in a single molecular assay. Different kits aimed at pathogens involved in Respiratory Tract Infections are already on the market. Later this year also tests for Sexually Transmitted Diseases and for viral infections of Cerebral Spinal Fluid will become available.
