On May 14 2009, the 4th Innovation day was held in the NEC stadium in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Here, the Top 100 of most innovative Dutch SME's was announced by Charlie Aptroot, MP. PathoFinder entered at position 77 with the RespiFinder plus kit (http://www.syntens.nl/innovatietop100/Pages/077.aspx).
"The election in the Innovation Top 100 means our efforts to develop and produce innovative products for molecular diagnostics are not only recogised by our customers but by the business community and the government as well", according to Dr. Guus Simons, CEO.
The Innovation top-100 is an initiative of Syntens, an innovation platform initiated by the ministry of economic affairs (www.syntens.nl).
